For investors

A teacher-built EdTech company, in selective conversations with mission-aligned partners.

Boomerang is a privately funded, early-stage company building a family of classroom-tested products designed from deep inside the school day — not from outside it. We are growing intentionally and welcome conversations with partners who share our commitment to teacher judgment, student privacy, and the quiet improvement of school routines.

The Boomerang philosophy

One brand. A growing family of products. One conviction.

Boomerang Pass, our first product, is a privacy-first digital hall pass for high schools — built around trust, dignity, and quiet accountability. Boomerang Projects extends the same philosophy into the extended research project, where freedom is the point and structure is what protects it.

These are the first two products in a deliberately sequenced family. Each new product will continue to apply the same conviction: the tools we put in classrooms should reflect the best of teaching — trust, judgment, and care — and they should make the routines of school quieter, fairer, and more respectful of student time. Every product in the Boomerang family is informed by direct, current classroom experience and the philosophy that comes from spending decades inside schools.

Why now

EdTech built from inside the classroom, not outside it.

Most EdTech today is built by founders who used to be in schools, or who have never been. Boomerang is different: it is being built by a founder who is still in the classroom every day, who has run the workflows the products manage, and who knows the difference between what looks good in a deck and what survives the first period of the first week of school.

We are deliberately small, deliberately privacy-first, and deliberately product-led. We have chosen a teacher-direct go-to-market for the beta phase so the product matures in real classrooms before it ever sits in a procurement queue.
